Clean out system restore.

Windows ME and XP comes with a useful little feature called SYSTEM RESTORE. It makes a copy of certain areas of your PC at the time each restore point is created, by default this will be every 24 hours.
This can be helpful when troubleshooting to return your computer to a point before any problems occurred, but in making a copy of what is in your computer, it will also copy and store any malware that was in there at the time the restore point was made.

Malware kept is system restore is not active and poses no threat, unless you restore your PC to an earlier point that contains malware, in which case you will be re-infected.

System restore does not allow anything it stores to be changed, If your security software detects an infection in any of the following, It is seeing the copy held within System restore, and will not be able to remove it. -

system volume information\_restore
_Restore\Temp
_Restore\Archive

To resolve this issue, you can either
Ignore the warnings, or tell your security scanner to ignore it. The malware can do no harm provided you do not use that restore point, it will eventually be overwritten.

Or you can remove all your restore points, and of course the copy of the malware.
